To set the mood x)
Well with the month of love in the air, I figured it would be cool to make a list of eight mangas that I like that I think people should check out this month if they are in the mood to read some good romance mangas. Of course, most of my choices for recommendations are pretty obvious, but sometimes people ignore the obvious series. Sometime within this week I also plan to make my list of Animes to watch to celebrate the month. Why eight you may ask? Well I figured why not. So I hope you somewhat like the recommendations! (and yes, they are in some sort of order) Read the rest of this entry »

Sometimes, I just don’t know when to stop writting x)
For firsts, after this post I’m going to have a mini-hiatus. Don’t worry, it won’t be for too long! I’ve just been really slow on updating and I decided I might as well just stop updating altogether with for the time being because my week is only going to get more difficult. Unlike for most people in this world, school ends pretty late for me and at the moment I’m still not in my exam week. So basically at the moment, I’m studying as much as I can. Naturally, I’m taking a few breaks here and there because otherwise I would go insane, but I’m still devoting most of time towards studying simply. So, point be told I want to announce officially that until further notice (that sounds so professional!) I will not be making any more posts. Read the rest of this entry »

I have the most strangest lighting in my room… x)
So this week I ended up buying a lot of things and with time to spare I decided to make a post about it. Buying things is always fun, but actually having to use your money is the disappointing part, but mangas are relatively cheap and when pre-ordering things with other purchases you can get the pre-ordering price and free shipping. My point is, it didn’t cost me that much for this stuff and I think it is pretty obvious considering I didn’t buy much and they aren’t exactly “rare items”…well on to more details! Well, this weekend I finally had the time to go out and find my copy of Fruits Basket! I found it at my local anime store, which is evidently where I should have looked to begin with, but that thought didn’t occur to me last week. Though, while I was there I also got my hands on a couple of posters, which I’m excited to show. Also, on my spending spree, I went to the video store and got a chance to rent Tekkon Kinkreet, which I’ll get around to watching sometime this week and try to write up a review. Though, when I was on my way home, I started to realize how cold it was outside, which made me realize how winter is coming… So with the holiday season just around the corner, this will have to be my final purchases for myself for a while, but I still have my orders of Lucky Star and Ouran to await for their arrival, although I still haven’t finished all the episodes from Ghost Hunt part 1… Anywho, I just wanted to share some of the images of the things I bought.

My copy of Fruits Basket volume 21 with Ren on the cover. I finished reading it once I got home and as expected, it was truly amazing! The first two chapters left me in tears and the rest was simply too romantic for words. I don’t know how I’ll manage to wait till March for the next volume. It’s also a shame to know that in two volumes it will be the end of the series….

My Neighbor Totoro! As you can see I took a picture of it as it was on my wall, so you get a chance to see my lame wall colours. Anyway, when I came across this poster, I knew I had to have it! Totoro should never be thought of anything less than amazing, so I’m glad I was able to find this to show off my appreciations even more!

First, sorry for the flash mark, it was really dark in my room and all I had was my light on, which has an orange-like tint to it, so it would have been hideously unclear without it. This is my second Cardcaptor Sakura poster I bought this year and I find this one a lot prettier than my last. My only problem with it is that right leg, which seems way too unnatural, but besides that the colours and image look so awesome!

First cover
So, today I went to the bookstore to pick up a book I needed for school, but during my search I ended up finding something as well, which was Yen+. This magazine is very similar to those such as “Shojo Beat” and “Shonen Jump” magazine and when I noticed it, I realized I never even heard of it. I bought it on a whim, which was when I found out that this magazine has only been running for one other month. Read the rest of this entry »
