Well knowing your taste a bit, I can understand how there may not be all that much that appeals to you this season. A good deal of the shows are either gritty or sequels. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo might be something up your alley though.

Chuubyou came at no surprise as Kyoto Animation always seems to impress and I’m definitely enjoying it right now. Aside from Little Busters, there isn’t much out there that interests me at the moment, which is a big change from the last two years since I manage to pick up to 4 shows. Maybe that will change, but I’ll see…

I know shoujo likes to thrown in comedy most of the time, but I can agree in the case of Kamisama that it clearly takes a more prominent roll. It really does make for a nice surprise, since a story like the one we’re getting, is best not shown as something too serious. There’s always a rather light-hearted tone throughout, which I’ve really enjoyed.

I know the feeling. I go through stages sometimes where I’m not really in the mood for anime for a few months, and then sure enough, it doesn’t take long for the anime world to suck me back in again!

Once I put all the pics up, I realized the similarity of the shots in each one. I was just waiting for someone to comment on that! Quite observant you are!

I’ve only ever seen the second season of Hidamari Sketch. I see the appeal, but it didn’t interest me as much as I wish it did. I may get around to see the other seasons at some point though.

I can definitely agree about Medaka. If they had made it even a bit more visually appealing to watch, it could help the series a lot.

Having just watched the first three episodes of Kamisama in a row, I have to say it is quite enjoyable. Didn’t realize one of its primary genres was comedy until I started watching it, so the quality humor was a nice surprise.

Agreed on Shinsekai Yori. Should be interesting to see how the plot develops.

Anyhow, there’s an obvious lack of Hidamari Sketch in this list. Definitely my favorite series this season. Fourth season and it’s still just as fresh and warming as the first? Wowsers.

Also, it’s a shame Medaka Box is done by Gainax. The direction is so… dull.
